The Complete Contractor

Helping the community grow at Teviot Street

Working in partnership with our suppliers and local stakeholders, the Olli team transformed a derelict community garden into a vibrant, usable space. By sourcing donated and recycled materials, we ensured a strong circular economy approach, keeping both resources and value within the local community. Contributions from Travis Perkins and Boss Scaffolding were instrumental, enabling the construction of durable raised beds and growing frames from repurposed timber.

The environmental impact was immediate and tangible. The team cleared approximately three skips of waste, removing hazards and restoring safety to the area. In place of the neglected site now stands a functional garden designed to support urban growing and encourage biodiversity.

Equally important was the social impact. We worked directly with the community to deliver this project. Local residents played an active role throughout, including Leo, whose hands-on contribution exemplified the sense of ownership and pride the project has inspired. By working side by side, our team shared skills, built relationships, and helped foster long-term stewardship of the space. At the end of the day it was rewarding and even fun!

Initiatives like this highlight how Olli Group continues to give back to the community, through genuine collaboration, environmental responsibility, bringing lasting community benefit.
